Falkirk Wood manufactures and installs both Sash and case and casement windows. As all our windows is produced to order, we can custom make each window to whatever dimensions you require.

Sash and case windows

Unless otherwise stated our sash and case wndows are made from Douglas fir. Douglas fir is a natural durable timber which is resistant to decay from the elements making you window last longer than a standard unit.

Repairs

Whenever possible, Falkirk Wood will endeavour to maintain the original timbers of your sash windows. Unlike modern pvc/ aluminium windows that aren't made from wood, it is possible for windows that initially look beyond any repair to be fully restored to their former glory.

Renovation

Renovating your sash windows will give your windows a new lease of life, as well as a smaller heating bill. The restoration that Falkirk Wood does will make your old windows work better than new.

We also manufacture double glazed casement windows all built to order. These can be made form either Scottish oak or Douglas fir, or an imported timber like meranti or iroko.
