We only use oak for our decks due to its good natural durability. All sapwood, which is vulnerable to rot, is removed. The natural durability of oak means that no further treatment is necessary and the wood will gradually weather to a silver grey colour and last for many years. Various wood treatments can be used to maintain the honey colour of the wood if desired.

Our standard decking material is 94 mm wide with a chamfered edge, and supplied in random lengths of between 2 metres and 500 mm. We do not normally make anti slip surface grooves as these harbour water and (in our opinion) look unattractive.    

The price is £45/ m2, plus VAT - this assumes a 6 mm gap between boards. We can deliver within mainland UK - as a rule of thumb the delivery price for up to 75 m2 is around £50.
