The picture shows a large beech work surface on an island unit. (The lining boards under the end of the surface are unoiled beech - the surface has been oiled, giving it a richer colour).

For something a little more unusual, how about a surface in mixed woods. This sample is (left to right) oak, ash, elm, sycamore and beech.

Please note that as all our work surfaces are made to measure, lead times can be several weeks, so give us as much notice as you can.

Our standard thickness is 38 mm. Prices per metre length for 600 mm work surfaces are:

Elm £155
Oak, sycamore or ash £145
Beech £135
